Present moment consciousness
At the end of the day, what all human beings truly desire is to feel better —to experience a sense of freedom, purpose, and peace in the unfolding of life. Freedom from the psychological constraints of constant rumination and the self-imposed narrations that keep us trapped in the illusory prisons of our ever-active minds. Peace to simply exist in the present moment, conscious and aware of our surroundings, immersed in the magnificence that life has to offer. And purpose, expressed through the passions, interests, and pursuits that naturally emerge when we are aligned with this state of being. Contentment arises not from perfect circumstances, but from being at peace with life as it is—not just okay with it, but truly enchanted by the unexpected gifts that emerge from our pursuit of meaning, joy, and preferred experience.
